LW is our perennial weakness, and for some reason borders on next to impossible to fix. For that I would say go for Vanek. And I don't see Steen hitting the market at 3.3mm, most likely not hitting it at all. |

Or do we give Penner another go on another 1 year tryout? Anything longer and we know what we'll get. |

Dustin wasn't even on Jason's list on "notable" wings. No matter, he'll re-sign with the Ducks anyway. Anaheim will have plenty of money to spend next year. |

Moulson would be awesome on the Kings. I believe him and Quick are brothers-in-law. Married twins if I remember correctly...... |

I think it's risky for any team to give a guy like that anymore than 1 or 2 years. That being said, the UFA market will be crazy once again with the cap increase so if he makes it to July unsigned then he'll get some nice offers. |

Marleau will stay with SJ, but I could see us going after Iginla or Moulson. Greene on a cheaper contract, but let Mitchell walk. Fraser, Frattin, Scrivens should all be gone next year as well. |

Would like a moulson, simply because he had the same kind of production of vanek for half the price.also resign greene, nobody likes to play against him. |

I dont think the Kings add anything up front unless we let some bodies walk. Im all for bringing back CarBomb and the obvious resignings of King and Vey. If we add I think we would look for a upgrade in defense. I think we Let Greene walk and give Mitchelle a one year deal. We need to let Greene walk. He is getting slower everytime they let him play. Great dude. Great in the locker room. But let him go. EDM could really use him. Maybe we even trade him there at deadline.
Of the Dman you listed the only one worth a crap is Mark Fayne. The rest are garbage. Steen would be nice but will get over paid for his monster year this year. Stempniak isnt a bad option for the 3rd line. He could step up in the event of an injury. But again. Im betting we dont pursue any forwards unless we move out bodies and let some walk. |

Frattin will be back, Lombardi isn't going to let both of the players he traded Bernier for after only a year. Scrivens being replaced by Jones can happen, but I don't think Frattin goes. I think it's more likely that Fraser goes and Lewis may even go with Vey looking like he belongs. |

You can see Moulson's point production already taking a hit with no Tavares on his line. Move him back to the west and just my guess that those numbers will take another hit. Putting another pure sniper on the left side just seems like a better idea to me, take Vanek if we can fit him under the cap. A year younger than Moulson too. |

I'm thinking you're right. Not sure Penner would even want to come back to LA. |

Then color me mistaken. I thought they experimented with him at wing a few seasons back. |

I don't know about that. He doesn't let mistakes hang around a long time. Besides, there are too many kids/ufa's that can bring more to the table. He just doesn't look like he fits in. I doubt he lets Lewis walk, he seams to be a Lombardi favorite. |

That was Duchene who got shifted to Stastnys wing 2 seasons ago. Hes a pure Center, I think he would be useless on the wing |

And why would we want him back? Other than the goal against Phoenix in the WCF, he never really did anything for the Kings other than provide fodder for more jokes. |

Dean Lombardi is a genius. He has positioned the Kings perfectly to either add or improve an already great team. He is also in a great position to give some really good players, like Greene and Mitchell, simple 1 year contracts so we have flexibility in the future. |
